Watch Dogs release date announced
Ubisoft's Watch Dogs finally has a confirmed release date, and a new trailer...
After several leaks and unconfirmed snippets of information, Ubisoft has finally ended the silence and has revealed the release date for the highly anticipated Watch Dogs.
May 27 is the red letter day for gamers hankering to do a little sandbox hacking, and you can pre-order the game now if you haven't already. The date was leaked ahead of the official announcement on Game's Twitter account, and on Xbox.com, but has now been officially confirmed in a statement by Ubisoft.
This date is further confirmed in the below trailer, which reveals more of the story of the game, including Aiden's motivations for his hacking spree across Chicago, and the larger-scale threat he's stumbled into.
The May 27 launch is for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC versions of the game. The Wii U version will be released at a later date, probably partly to avoid clashing with the release of Mario Kart 8.
So, there is a light at the end of the tunnel for Watch Dogs, and there's not that much longer to wait. For now, have a look at the new trailer.
