Ubisoft has confirmed that the delayed and highly anticipated Watch Dogs will arrive in the first half of the year...

Thought to be the first real killer-app of the new generation of consoles, it was a major blow to both gamers and the industry when Ubisoft's hot new property, Watch Dogs, was delayed from its initial launch line-up window last year.

The delay was for the dev team to further polish and refine the open world hacking title, and it was pushed into early this year, and now we have a confirmed release window from Ubi. Watch Dogs will arrive in April, May, or possibly June. Yes, it's hardly accurate, but at least we know the game will arrive in the first quarter of the 2014-15 fiscal year.

Ubisoft's CEO, Yves Guillemot, also confirmed that Just Dance and The Crew will also launch in the same financial year, with two other titles

"Fiscal 2014-15 will see an exceptional games lineup, with the release of five major titles including Just Dance, The Crew and Watch Dogs, which is scheduled for release in the first fiscal quarter," he said in an official financial report that also outlined the strong success of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and its performance on Xbox One and PS4.
