Watch Dogs PS4 developer trailer
Watch Dogs is coming to all numerous formats, but the PS4 will get the one of the best versions...
The much anticipated Watch Dogs from Ubisoft is coming in November, and the open world hacking title is coming to a number of formats, all of which look very nice indeed. However, the developers have had a little more flexibility on the console side with the PS4, which is explained in this latest video for the game.
Using the power of the PS4, the team has been able to increase the level of immersion somewhat, thanks to a very scalable game engine that allows them to deliver the same core game experience on each platform, whilst enriching it on more powerful systems, like the PS4.
The city of Chicago in the game will be a very densely populated and detailed urban sprawl, regardless of the format you play it on, but the PS4 will have that upper hand, able to handle more detail, and a generally richer presentation.
The team also talks about exploring the possibilities of connectivity, both in front of the screen, and when you're out on the real world via your phone. They also explain the focus of granting power to the player, who will be able to create the game's best moments and share them with friends.
Have a look at the diary below, and get ready for Watch Dogs, which will arrive on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U and PC on November 19 in the US and November 22 in the UK, and it will be a launch title for the PlayStation 4.
