Humble Origin Bundle announced
The charity gaming compilation, The Humble Bundle, now contains some Origin titles for a steal...
In case you're not aware, The Humble Bundle is a series of game compilations that are offered to the worldwide gaming public for a ridiculously low price, which can then be increased as the purchaser's discretion. Why would you want to pay more? Because all of the proceeds for the Humble Bundle go to charity, that's why.
The latest bundle is The Humble Origin Bundle, and it includes Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box, Crysis 2: Maximum Edition, Dead Space, Dead Space 3, Medal of Honor and Mirror’s Edge. These can all be yours (via Origin download codes) for your named price, and if you pay over the average amount ($4.74 at the time of writing), you'll also get Battlefield 3 and The Sims 3 (plus the Starter Pack).
This particular Humble Bundle deal also allows users to specify how they split their donations up, and how much goes to the various charities.
Starting life as an indie-focused gaming compilation for charity, this isn't the first time The Humble Bundle has featured big name publisher compilations. Recently Deep Silver provided a few games for the offer, and in the past the now defunct THQ also supported the pack, raising $5.1 million for charity.
At the time of writing, the Origin bundle as raised an impressive $3,000,000 for charity, with over 640,000 sales so far. Be sure to visit the below link if you want to contribute and donate to charity, grabbing some great games while you're at it.
