Capcom has announced that the critically acclaimed Resident Evil 4 is coming to PC in remastered form...

Before Resident Evil became a bit of parody of itself, with a number of mediocre to terrible releases, one of the best instalments of the series was winning awards left, right and centre. This was the excellent Resident Evil 4.

Although it's already seen multiple releases on various platforms, Capcom is raiding its back catalogue and is going to release Leon S. Kennedy's epic adventure once more, this time on PC, with some buffed-up visuals.

Resident Evil 4 Ultimate HD Edition is coming to Steam for PC, and Capcom has promised that it'll have the highest fidelity of any version, running in full HD at a smooth 60 frames per second. It'll also boast all of the usual Steam benefits, such as achievements, trading cards, leaderboards, game controller support and the cloud. All of the extra content will also be included, such as the Separate Ways, Ada campaign.

The PC HD version of Resident Evil 4 will be available on Steam from February 28 for £19.99/€ 19.99, and you can pre-order it now, granting access to the digital archives and digital soundtrack.
