Some in-depth new gameplay videos of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain have surfaced online, fresh from TGS '13. The three videos include two long gameplay demonstrations, and the already seen intro, now fully voiced in English, with Kiefer Sutharland taking the role of Snake.
It's undeniably very odd to hear anyone but David Hayter's voice come from Snake, but Kiefer does a fine job, channelling 24's Jack Bauer into the role. The end result is pretty good, and he's certainly a great choice for the iconic gaming hero.
Meanwhile, the two gameplay demonstration videos delve deep into the game's actual mechanics, showing the open world espionage in both day and night missions, with the daytime outing being a side mission showing that Snake is every bit as stealthy and dangerous in broad daylight as he is after dark.
Metal Gear solid V: The Phantom Pain is due out in 2014 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
