GTA V Special and Collector's Edition details
Here's a run-down of the extra goodies you'll get with the special editions of GTA V...
Rockstar has released more details of the extra bonuses you'll receive if you opt to purchase one of the special editions of the upcoming GTA V, and they include cars, clothes and tattoos, amongst other things, and span both single-player and Online.
First up are some extra weapons, and in both Special and Collector's Edition you'll get a couple of extra firearms at no cost, each with unique customisation options. This includes the Bullpup Shotgun and the .50 Caliber Pistol. Both are available from Ammu-Nation stores in the world.
All three characters will gain extra outfits and tattoos, along with a 20% discount and special items in their personal wardrobes. An extra outfit will be available for each protagonist, along with a special haircut (including facial) and tattoo.
Special ability boosts will regenerate each character's special abilities 25% faster than normal, and Stunt Plane trials will be included, the completion of each will boost your character's piloting skills.
Exclusive to the Collector's Edition will be extra character creation options for GTA Online. This new system will be hereditary-based, in that you'll choose a character for your avatar to be based upon, and then play around with gene dominance to shape them. The Collector's Edition will include templates for previous GTA characters Niko Bellic, Claude and Misty.
The Collector's Edition will also feature unique vehicles and garage property in which to store them. The CarbonR5 sports bike and Hotknife hotrod will be available in single-player, and online you'll have access to the Khamelion electric car.
That's a decent amount of extra content, and both editions of the game are now available for pre-order.
Grand Theft Auto V will be released on September 17 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
