Far Cry 4 in the works?
Composer, Cliff Martinez, may have let the cat out of the bag about the next outing of Ubisoft's Far Cry...
In an interview over at Lost in the Multiplex with composer Cliff Martinez (which has since been edited), it's been revealed that there's a possibility that Ubisoft is currently working on Far Cry 4.
Martinez, who's worked on movies such as Drive, Solaris and Traffic, as well as EA's Spore, revealed at the end of the interview that he's working “a video game called Far Cry 4.”
At the time of writing, Ubisoft hasn't commented on this, but it's hardly a surprise given the success of Far Cry 3, and the 80s-themed DLC spin-off, Blood Dragon. In fact, so successful was the DLC that it's become a possibility that it will get its own full, commercial release. Maybe this will actually be Far Cry 4, you never know. What's certain is that any following Far Cry will surely be a next gen release, and as the series is known for its impressive visuals and open world, a next gen outing could be very special, indeed. More news as we get it.
