Blizzard has confirmed the release date for the console edition of Diablo III...

Although it was plagued by bugs and issues on launch, Diablo III on the PC is still successful, and a very popular RPG, which many console owners want to get a piece of. Well, Blizzard has finally given these players what they want, and we have a firm release date for the console edition.

Diablo III: Reaper of Souls Ultimate Evil Edition will arrive on August 19, not just for PS4, but also for PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360. This version will feature all of the content from the Reaper of Souls expansion alongside acts one to four from the original game.

There's also a pre-order offer which includes a set of 'Infernal Pauldrons'. These demonic shoulder pads will boost the vitality and cool down reactions of even lowly level one characters.

The console version of the game will, of course, be optimised for the platforms, and will also feature both online and offline split screen multiplayer.
