Bungie's new open-world FPS IP has a confirmed release date...

It's one of our most anticipated releases of next year and now, Destiny, the new open-world FPS from ex-Halo developer, Bungie, has a solid release date.

September 9, 2014 is the worldwide release date for the new title, which will have a focus of online multiplayer in a selection of large, wide-open worlds that feature Halo-style combat, spliced with Borderlands-style character skills and progression.

Ahead of the final release, Bungie will be giving gamers access to the public beta, which starts next summer, appearing on Sony's PS3 and PS4 first.

“Today, in partnership with Activision, we are proud to announce that the worldwide launch of Destiny will happen on September 9th. Accordingly, the Destiny Beta will kick off in the summer of 2014, available first on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3,” the team said on the official website.

Destiny will be released on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4.

Excellent. I don't plan on even getting a ps4 until June anyhow. Not because I don't have the money (it's because I don't have the money), but because that's when Watch Dogs is due to release.

Plz explain, You don't have the money or you don't have the money?
