Deep Down prologue trailer
Capcom's new free-to-play co-op RPG has a new trailer, and here it is...
Okay, let's admit it, Capcom's upcoming online RPG, Deep Down, looks very bit the blatant rip off of From Software's excellent Dark Souls, but if it's anywhere near as good, we're up for it, especially as it's going to be free-to-play.
Although it's not totally guaranteed that the game will get a release in the west (only a Japan release has been confirmed so far), we'd be very surprised if the game doesn't make it to our market, and a little sad. In fact, Capcom has already filed a patent application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. This was done back in July 2013, and only published on December 17, so here's hoping.
The below trailer is the usual CG prologue, with no actual gameplay footage, but it clearly demonstrates that the game will emphasise co-op against a selection of beastly foes.
Deep Down is set to be exclusive to Sony's PS4.
