Deep Down on PS4 will be free-to-play
Capcom's new RPG, Deep Down, will be another free-to-play title for PlayStation 4...
Sony's PlayStation 4 is going out of its way to embrace the ever-growing trend of free-to-play games, and has a launch line up bristling with such titles, including the popular Warframe and PlanetSide 2, and Capcom has revealed that it's also getting in on the action.
The mysterious new Capcom RPG, Deep Down, has already been confirmed as a PS4 exclusive, and it's now been revealed that it'll also be a free-to-play title for the console. So, you won't have to lay out any cash to find out what knights and dragons are doing in future New York.
Free-to-play games on the PS4 won't require a PS Plus membership either, so there's no paywall to overcome in order to access thee titles, including Deep Down.
Deep Down is being developed by Street Fighter creator, Yoshinori Ono, and uses Capcom's new Panta Rhei game engine. It currently has no release date.
