Call Of Duty: Ghosts reveal in May?
It's rumour time again folks, this time for Infinity Ward's next Call of Duty, Ghosts...
With an awful lot of rumours about upcoming games being more truth than fiction lately, it's good to take note every one in a while, and this latest rumour is a big one, as it involves Call of Duty. YouTuber, Drift0r, has posted some supposedly leaked information about the next Call of Duty title, which he claims comes from a very trustworthy source.
According to this information, the next Call of Duty will be revealed in May, and will be titled Call of Duty: Ghosts, dropping IW's Modern Warfare moniker, and it's going to take place in the future, much like Black Ops II. Whether the name is in relation to Modern Warfare's character, Ghost isn't known.
Despite the future setting, however, due to some form of major plot event, weapons used will be those from present day, rather than futuristic models. It's not clear why this is, but it's going to be part of the story.
Multiplayer will get some improvements, including new moves such as the ability to roll side to side when prone, and lean around corners, and you'll be able to interact during map loading, performing such actions as breaching windows after repelling from a chopper, or sneaking into the mission area.
In a bid to emulate competitor, Battlefield, the dev team are also looking to introduce more destructible environments, most likely in single player, and multiplayer will incorporate traps and other interactive elements.
Also, the popular Spec Ops mode is, apparently, going to be reworked into something new, but no information about this was leaked.
Lastly, and if true, is perhaps the most surprising news that it's been said that the game is only slated for next gen platforms, including the next Xbox, PlayStation 4 and PC. This is surprising as Call of Duty is a guaranteed seller, and ruling out current gen platforms will mean Activision is ditching a huge potential market, especially as the new consoles will only arrive this year.
To be honest, I can't really see Activision cutting out such a profitable avenue, and there's a good chance that the game will release on current platforms too. Of course, at this point, all of the above is just rumour, but with the Modern Warfare story being pretty much wound up in MW3, it would make much more sense for IW to do something different.

Oh look, they're going to make an almost identical copy of Ghost Recon and make a lot of stupid kids think Ubisoft is copying them. How laughable.
Well, I am finally glad to see that maybe they have decided to create a whole new series with a whole new story and plot. Also, take not that the sliding part is something people liked in Medal of Honor Warfighter. Better destruction will hopefully be like Battlefield 3. And hopefully and good improvement on the graphics beyond Black Ops 2. That will be nice to see something new besides just new guns. At least the players will now have new functions or movements I should say in the game. It is also good that they are not going to use futuristic guns like Black ops 2. Sorry to say this but the guns in BO2 are nothing compared to MW3. So I like the fact of using real guns that everybody knows really exist. I wished though that they were not going into the future as far as the story. How far can you go without using unreal guns? Anyway, I would really like to see if they would make the entire campaign available in CO OP mode. That would be really nice. With all the options of deciding who lives or dies like Black Ops 2, but with the suspense of MW3. Also, make a new spec ops with a survival where you can earn enough money to buy your way out by helicopter transport. If you live to get on the helicopter then your score is put on the score board for comparing against friends. If you buy out too early then your score is too little, if you buy out too late to the point that you cant defend yourself and die then you start over. Highest scores like these would make a nice comparison on strategy and judgment of how long you think you can last. Also, I would like to see them make a zombie mode where it is not so dark at night. More like morning or evening but not completely dark. That would be nice. I could go on and on about improvements but I will stop here. So thank for reading and if you like my comments them please approve. Thanks
I'll never understand why why seem to have such a problem with returning to WW2. I thoroughly enjoyed those games, when they first began releasing them. I suppose it would be because kids these days would find WW2 "boring" and "old", hence these leaps into the future. What's the point in the franchise releases being split, year by year, by Treyarch and Infinity if they're both simply going to be set in the future? Yet again, the gaming industry shows a fundamental misunderstanding of their own demographics, but I suppose they can't turn away the legions of obnoxious children who think campaign modes are some kind of extra, which, let's face it, they pretty much are in COD these days.
Oh well.
