Arkham Origins is set to look further into Bruce Wayne's past with the latest DLC, Initiation...

Batman: Arkham Origins was, as the snappy title clearly points out, an origin story focusing on the early days of the Dark Knight's crime fighting career. However, developer WB Montreal isn't content with stopping there, and the latest DLC will take us even further back, being a prequel to the prequel.

The DLC, called Initiation, will chart Bruce Wayne's training in the Paektu-San Mountains of North Korea, clearly a take on the League of Shadows. Sporting ninja garb and a beard in place of his usual cape and cowl, Bruce will fight in a variety of challenge maps set in such locations as bamboo forests and the mountain-top monastery.

New enemies and ninja-themed weapons will be included, although it's a bit strange that warriors in a ninja monastery would carry shotguns and assault rifles. Got to keep up with the times, I guess.

You can see the trailer for the DLC below, which should be available by the time you read this.
