Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag – Golden Age of Pirates trailer
A new trailer for Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag has set sail, detailing the pirate-era setting...
The next instalment of Assassin's Creed is set to take another big jump in setting, not content with another single-character trilogy. In this new story players will be at the helm with new assassin, Edward Kenway, a pirate and member of the assassin order.
Set in the Caribbean at the height of the pirate menace in 1715, the game will not only tell the tale of Haytham Kenway's dad, but also the exploits of famous pirates such as Blackbeard, Calico Jack and Charles Vane.
With more seafaring content and a much more fluid transition between on-foot and ship-based adventure than in AC3, Black Flag could be even better than its excellent predecessor, and it'll also benefit from being on next-gen platforms.
Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag is due to be released on October 31 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U and PC, with the PlayStation 4 version also arriving once the console is on the shelves.
