Metal Gear Solid 4 heading for Xbox 360?
Simon Brew
Could one of the PS3's most prized exclusives be about to change sides?
Rumours are circulating today that Konami’s Playstation 3 juggernaut Metal Gear Solid 4 – review here – may not be exclusive to Sony’s console after all. For some time, it’s been believed that MGS4 was one of the very few third party PS3 exclusives, yet according to a report from gaming website Videogaming247, that may not be the case. The site quotes a ‘highly-placed source’ as saying “it’s inevitable” that the game will make its way over to the Xbox 360. And while creator Hideo Kajima has argued that it’s not possible to move the game from one machine to the other, due to the storage capacity of a Blu-ray over a DVD, it could be that the sheer weight of the Xbox 360 market makes the decision a no-brainer.
We wait and see. In the meantime, the link to the original story is here.

Re: Metal Gear Solid 4 heading for Xbox 360?Rumours of MGS4 360 are nothing new, and have been raging since long before the game was released. But, there's no denying the pulling power of the 360 market when it comes to making money, and any businessman worth his pinstripe would be foolish to rule out such a profitable avenue. It may simply hang on Sony's cast iron grip. |
