Bungie unveils a brand-new campaign trailer for FPS sequel Halo: Reach...
Published on Jul 29, 2010
There are just under seven weeks to go until Halo: Reach returns to the Xbox 360, and in the run up to its release, developer Bungie has released a new trailer that provides a glimpse into the shooter's campaign.
Marking the last time Bungie will return to the Halo universe, it's clear the developer has thrown all its creative energies into making this the most spectacular-looking entry in the series yet.
Set before the events of Halo: Combat Evolved, Reach details the escalating war between the United Nations Space Command and the alien Covenant. Taking control of a Spartan warrior known as Noble 6, players will take part in vast battles on the planet Reach, which has been devastated (or glassed) by Covenant forces.
While it'll be sad to see Bungie leave behind the franchise that made its name, Halo: Reach looks like a fitting send-off for the 360's greatest exclusive FPS.
Halo: Reach is due for release in the UK on 14 September.
