Lance Henriksen confirmed for Aliens Vs Predator game

Sega’s reboot of the Aliens Vs Predator games gets a helping hand from a familiar face…

Published on Jan 13, 2010

If our maths and memory serves us well, Lance Henriksen has failed to get to the end of three films thus far in the Alien franchise. He thus seems to be the perfect choice to lend his talents to the incoming game of Aliens Vs Predator, which is due next month.

The game, being put together by Rebellion who made the superb PC AvP games the best part of a decade ago, will once again allow you to play as marine, alien or predator. And Henriksen's role in all of this is as Karl Bishop Weyland, a descendant of Charles Bishop Weyland. Charles Bishop Weyland, you may remember, founded the Weyland-Yutani Corporation.

Henriksen has lent his voice and likeness to the game, which is heading to PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. And in case you missed it, a story trailer for it was released before Christmas, which we've got for you here.

Was really happy to hear Lance was confirmed for the game when his voice first appeared in the trailer. Not too sure on his in-game model though. Does anyone know if the "Hunter Edition" is being released in the UK ?
