First trailer for Medal Of Honor reboot

Medal Of Honor returns in 2010, with a new game set in the present day. And here’s the trailer for it…

Electronic Arts, as you may know, is rebooting its Medal Of Honor franchise next year. This was, of course, the game that paved the way to the Call Of Duty titles, not least because it was the significant brains behind the wonderful Medal Of Honor: Allied Assault who headed off to set up Infinity Ward and kickstart the CoD series.
But while Call Of Duty has thrived, Medal Of Honor has struggled. It's stayed rooted in World War II, and while the last release, Airborne, had plenty of interesting ideas, the hard truth was it simply wasn't anywhere near as good as something like even Call Of Duty 2. And that's hardly a new game.
So EA has decided to hit the reset switch, stripping the title back down to a bare Medal Of Honor, and moving the action to the present day. And to show how it's been getting on, it's released a teaser trailer for the game, which has Modern Warfare influences tattooed right through the heart of it.
The game isn't due until the end of 2010, but see what you make of this trailer...
