One of the absolute gaming delights of 2009 was the first really, really good Batman game since the 1980s, in the shape of Eidos' Batman: Arkham Asylum. Refreshingly, this was also a terrific game that a) didn't come out in a two-month period at the end of the year along with everything else and b) sold lots of copies.

This means, therefore, that a sequel is definitely on the way. Warner Bros Interactive president said that "Rocksteady has taken Batman to a new level in the video game space and we are committed to delivering a sequel the fans will love."

And to prove that the project was moving ahead, a trailer for the game has also been released. Sadly, we can't link to it or show it, as it's being taken down as quickly as people are uploading it. But, let's just leave you for the minute with these three words: "Arkham has moved"...
