Free Uncharted 2: Among Thieves DLC this Friday

Love Uncharted 2? Then there's more coming this very Friday...

Naughty Dog announced that they were planning on releasing some DLC for the excellent Uncharted 2: Among Thieves shortly after the game's release and the first of piece of DLC will be made available on Friday - and best of all it's free!

The DLC will be a map for multiplayer called The Fort which will be based on the Fortress level from Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. The press release states, "The Fort is a long rectangular map with wide open spaces and excellent flank routes."

If this wasn't enough incentive to put in some hours on the multiplayer this weekend, Naughty Dog are also running the second double cash weekend. As with the last one, each team will have specific skins in competitive matches. Heroes will play as Doughnut Drake and Villains will play as Lazarevic.

Here's hoping that Naughty Dog incorporate more of Drake's Fortune into the multiplayer of Among Thieves.My wish is for Eddie as a selectable character.

The update is set to go live at 1pm eastern time in the US, so about 6pm for us in the UK.
