We'd still, given a choice, take Sega's planned Aliens: Colonial Marines game first. But the signs are strong that Aliens Vs Predator is going to be the first new Aliens game out of the gate. And considering how trouser-taintingly scary the original AvP games were (this writer has distinct and not happy memories of playing them in the dark, only for his wife to creep up behind him), we're very much looking forward to seeing the franchise return.

With that in mind, Sega has released a new trailer for the game, which is set for release at some point in 2010. And is it just us that thinks this is looking very smart indeed?
