Command & Conquer 4: the trailer

Could the Nod and the GDI be joining forces for the fourth Command & Conquer game?
Published on Jul 28, 2009
Remember when trailers for games used to, er, show you a bit of the game itself? EA doesn't, on the basis of the new trailer for Command & Conquer 4, as instead it's put together the kind of promo that a Hollywood movie producer would be mighty proud of.
It's all setting up for next year's Command & Conquer 4, the game that supposedly brings the C&C story arc to a close. And as the trailer shows, the catalyst appears to be Kane himself, bringing a proposition to the table of the GDI. For those of us who have been battling the Command & Conquer games since the 90s, this is what you could describe as something of a seismic shift.
One thing we also learnt from the trailer is that if you live in Manchester, it might be an idea to get out in the next 50 years or so. The climate doesn't appear to be improving, on the basis of what EA has to offer here.
Click below to see the full trailer, and the game itself will be arriving in 2010. Hopefully, it'll be a little better than the last, which was fun, but seemed to be all about building up your forces for an hour or two, and then watching a 90 second battle as the pay-off...
