Gran Turismo returns in October

It’s not Gran Turismo 5, sadly, but PSP owners will get Gran Turismo for the first time in the autumn…

Sony promised earlier in the year that it'd be putting fresh focus on its PSP handheld console, that's still managed to sell tens of millions of units, in spite of it generally being regarded as a comparable disappointment when placed next to the Nintendo DS.
And it's been as good as its word. The latest big gun it's wheeling out is Gran Turismo, which will be arriving on PSP for the first time on 1st October of this year. The game will include over 800 vehicles, more than 30 tracks, and is being described as "a great introduction to the best-selling series for newcomers".
Promising graphics running at 60 frames per second, and support for up to four players, the game will allow you to trade vehicles with others, and it's been developed by Polyphony, the team behind the PS2 Gran Turismo games.
Now, if they could all just get round to sorting Gran Turismo 5 out, for which fresh video footage has been seen, but with no sign of a finished game, that would be just dandy...
