SimCity server status site launched
SimCity players can now check server health via a new website...
Along with hotfixes, and free games, EA has put in place another remedy to remedy teething issues with SimCity. If you're planning to have a bit of urban developmental action and need to know if you'll be able to get online, you can now visit a special site dedicated to the game's server status.
The site (link below) shows all available SimCity servers, along with their current status. The servers are split into the various regions, and at the time of writing, they were green across the board. It seems the initial issues have been overcome. The game initially suffered from server connectivity and reliability issues. EA has since been offering a free game via Origin to affected players.
That said, even with the problems, the game has sold very well indeed, and is a fitting return for the hugely successful city building sim.
