Mass Effect 3 Citadel DLC trailer

Trailer Aaron Birch 5 Mar 2013 - 06:03

Commander Shepard and Co. are back for one last mission, this time on the Citadel...

The latest, and possibly greatest DLC for Mass Effect 3 is here, and this time it takes place on the Citadel, the seat of power in the Mass Effect universe. The new expansion, which is supposedly the largest BioWare has released for the title, sees Shepard reunited with faces from the entire Mass Effect series, including fan-favourite, Wrex.

As well as a final mission, which sees Shepard become the target of a shady conspiracy, the expansion also promises several rewards, including a brand new apartment on the Citadel, which can be fully customised, as well as being used as a rendezvous location for Shepard's universe-renowned love life, including characters who were previously absent from the third game.

As well as a bachelor pad, the DLC also opens up new areas of the Citadel, including the Silver Coast Casino and a combat arena. These will both offer diversions and mini games for players to tackle.

The DLC is available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC March 5 in the US and March 6 in Europe, and it'll cost 1200 MS Points, or for other platforms $14.99 or £10.28. Xbox owners will find the download a little more challenging, as the DLC breaks Microsoft's 2GB download limit, and so is available as two separate parts. Users will pay for the first part, and can download the second for free. Obviously, the DLC will only work with both parts, so don't get any ideas.

Bloody hell... today is surely gonna be the longest shift at work ever. The other ME3 DLCs are good plays but not really worth the extra money except maybe Leviathan.Saying that I'll be playing as soon as I get in this evening. Can't wait! :D

That trailer was a bit rubbish, but, like Amy, I know I'll definitely play it.
