The unbeatable hitman, 47’s latest contracts may be still ringing fresh, but some old cases are returning in HD…

If you’ve not had enough contract killing after playing through Hitman: Absolution, then fear not, as a HD re-release of three classic Hitman titles is on the way, and here’s the US launch trailer.

The HD Trilogy will feature Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman: Contracts and Hitman: Blood Money, along with a new Hitman Sniper challenge. Sadly, the first PC-only title, Hitman: Codename 47, won’t make the cut.

With over 75 hits spread across 40 missions, this is a serious Hitman package, and for those who have yet to sample the older games, perhaps having their 47 cherry popped with Absolution, it should be a very tempting purchase.

Hitman: HD Trilogy will be released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in Europe on February 1, and is out now in the US.
