Splinter Cell: Blacklist release date revealed
Sam Fisher’s back in Splinter Cell: Blacklist, and now there’s an official release date…
Sam Fisher has been out of action since 2010’s Splinter Cell: Conviction, but he’s soon going to be back on duty, silently knocking people out and shuffling along water pipes in all sorts of gloomy locales.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist will arrive, as the trailer (via IGN) below shows, on August 20. Also shown in the trailer is Sam Fisher’s next mission, which sees him brought in by US president, Patricia Caldwell, as part of the newly formed Fourth Echelon, to stop a series of planned attacks on US soil.
Originally unveiled by Microsoft at E3, the game will also support Kinect for the Xbox 360, and will also arrive on the PlayStation 3 and PC. So, have a look at the trailer, and start to wonder all over again why people can’t seem to notice Sam’s brighter-than-bright green goggles shining out from the darkness.
