Irrational Games has released this new teaser, which unveils BioShock Infinite’s first few minutes…

BioShock Infinite is going to be one of the hottest games of 2013, that much is undisputable, and fan expectations are riding as high as the game’s setting of the floating city of Columbia. Much has been shown of the title’s enemies, powers, and the unique and intriguing setting, not to mention to cool rail system, and now Irrational is going to show us how it all begins.

The trailer below shows of the opening few minutes of the game, so needless to say, it’s chock full of spoilers, and you may want to avert your browser if you don’t want to know how the game all kicks off.

For those that do have a look, it’s easy to see that Irrational is sticking to the atmospheric stylings of the original BioShock, and this opening bears a striking resemblance to the first game, lighthouse and all. The only difference is, the departure direction is up, instead of heading down into the ocean deep, and the method of transport is a little more ballistic. So, if you want a sneaky peek at the game’s beginning, have a look at the clip below.

BioShock Infinite will be released on March 26 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
