Amazon has done it again, and leaked another future release ahead of schedule…

With Hitman: Absolution now out and about, it would appear as though Square Enix hasn’t had enough of the bio-engineered killer, 47, just yet. According to an Amazon listing, the ‘Hitman HD Trilogy’ is due to be released next year.

Slated for arrival on January 29 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, the trilogy, which will, of course, feature a full HD makeover, will bring Hitman classics, Silent Assassin, Contracts and Blood Money to current-gen platforms. Completionists will no doubt miss the first game in the series, Hitman: Codename 47, but there’s no denying that this is a great collection for those who would like to replay the classic games in HD, or for players who’ve previously missed out on 47’s earlier exploits.

The collection is priced at $39.99, and there’s a special Premium Edition that’s going to be available in a limited first run that will also include an exclusive art book depicting classic Hitman moments.

The collection is, at the time of writing, only listed on Amazon.com, and so there’s no news of a possible release in regions other than the ‘States. However, it’s unlikely that the release will miss out on other markets.
