Some juicy details about the upcoming Skyrim DLC, Dragonborn have leaked…

There be spoilers ahead.

Now confirmed for arrival on the PC and PlayStation 3 early next year, the next DLC for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, titled Dragonborn, arrives on Xbox 360 tomorrow for 1600 MS Points. If you can’t wait a few more hours, though, here are some leaked details.

The new expansion, as we already know, takes place primarily on the isle of Solstheim, the Nord Island to the north-west of Morrowind’s Vvardenfell. It’s been revealed, via a play tester’s itchy typing finger that you character will come under attack by a strange cult, and, following a trip by boat, you’ll arrive on the snowy island not seen since Morrowind’s Bloodmoon expansion.

Features wise, the most interesting confirmation is the addition of dragon riding, and the leak also revealed that the DLC will grant an extra 250 Gamerscore points along with ten new achievements.

A slew of new enemies and weapons will feature, including Werebears, Morag Tong assassins, Lurkers and new dragons. Classic, Morrowind armour will also return, such as nomadic, shell-based Chitin armour, as well as bonemould protection, and some new shouts will feature, including Cyclone and water walking.

So, if you hanker for the good old days of Morrowind, then Dragonborn will be your DLC of choice, and you’ll be able to get it tomorrow.
