Call Of Duty: Black Ops II is going to get the obligatory collector’s editions, and here are the details…

The Call O Duty series has, in the last few revisions, been known to offer wealthier players and more hardcore fans a little extra bang for their buck, and collector’s editions have featured such things as night vision goggles and remote control RCs, and Black Ops II isn’t going to break this tradition. The special editions for Call Of Duty: Black Ops II have been revealed, and they’re looking pretty attractive for fans of the annual series.

The now expected Hardened Edition is the cheaper of the two main collector’s releases, and for around $80 the package includes the game in a collector’s steelbook case, official soundtrack, limited edition challenge coins, Xbox Live Avatar content (obviously exclusive to the 360 version) and bonus in-game content in the form of the Nuketown 2025 map and Nuketown Zombies. There’s also some exclusive weapon camo content and player card backgrounds.

However, as good as the Hardened Edition is, it’s the Care Package that’ll get fans particularly excited. This mammoth package, which will cost around $180, comes in a huge carry case and includes all of the above, along with a remote control MQ-27 Dragonfire Drone. This quad-propeller flying drone is fully functional, and is modelled after the in-game tech of the same name.

PC owners aren’t totally left out of this special edition goodness either, and the Digital Deluxe Edition will feature much of the content above, including the soundtrack, Nuketown maps, weapon camo and player card backgrounds. This version will also feature a download token to download a digital version of Call Of Duty: World At War. This edition will set PC gamers back $80.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops II is due to be released worldwide on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on November 13.
