Here’s where we really earn our geek stripes; nothing has got this writer anywhere near as excited as the pair of Doctor Who-themed computer peripherals that DoG contributor Ron Hogan unearthed and urgently sent his way at 2.30 in the morning.

Sold in the States by www.thinkgeek.com, the first of our two product highlights this morning is this brilliant TARDIS USB hub. Sold under the headline “Throughout infinite time and space, you can always use more USB ports”.

The product description simply out-geeks us, and when you’ve got lines such as the extract below, you just feel like ponying up the $30 plus shipping to get a USB hub complete with flashing blue light:

“This little blue box, really an immense multi-dimensional starship capable of ludicrous speeds, sits benignly on your desk, acting as a mere conduit of digital information for your computer. 480 megabits per second of data are shared amongst its four USB 2.0 ports along the base.
