Where's Spidey?
Sarah Dobbs
Everyone remembers Where's Wally?, right? (Possibly as "Where's Waldo?" if you're American.) Well, this is sort of like that, only instead of a book, there's the world, and instead of Wally...

It's possible that I have a more well developed Spider-Man radar than most. Even so, I can't be the only one who's noticed that Spidey just gets everywhere.

I actually found this outside my house. Weirdly, I had a Spider-Man keyring that was almost identical, but it broke a week ago. Then this one showed up. Cue Twilight Zone theme...
Spookiness aside, it gave me an idea. If you spot Spider-Man anywhere he really shouldn't be (i.e. on a DVD in HMV doesn't count!) then snap a picture and send it to us at geekcontent@gmail.com, telling us where and when you saw him. Sorted.

He was Wally before he was Waldo.
It's a fairly logical renaming though. Aren't both just abbreviations of Walter? That said, I've never heard anyone in real life be nicknamed either.

Wally is better than Waldo. If only because Waldo isn't a silly-sounding insult.

I don't think I know anyone in real life named Walter, either.

Had an uncle called Wally
And my father-in-law was called that by his work mates.
