Photographic evidence of the return of Indiana Jones. And he's not looking too old, either...

And so it's real. Indiana Jones is returning, the filming has started, and LucasFilm has released photographic evidence. Which we've nicked and stuck up to the right over there.

So far, appreciating we're judging this on the basis of one photo, Harrison Ford doesn't look as old as we feared. And even factoring in Photoshop and its many talents, we can't help but being excited.

Also, since we last posted about the film, the marvellous Jim Broadbent has joined the cast, which already includes John Hurt and Cate Blanchett. Oh, and er Harrison Ford. But we figured you knew that bit already.

So now we wait, for two things. Firstly, that release date, of 22nd May 2008. And secondly, for the LucasFilm lawyers to send us a letter suing us for posting that picture.

We look forward to both.

Wow - what a great advert for Saga! Mr Ford may be getting on a bit but still who else in cinema history has played two of the coolest action heroes in history.

Unfortunately, this'll make my brother's trilogy boxset rather redundant. Oh well, HURRAH! I guess we'll see what happens Indy near future... (ahem)

Here's three words to strike feat into your heart... Story: George Lucas And this is after he rejected the script written by Frank Darabont; producer of Collateral and writer of The Green Mile. I just can't imagine that being a stinker; whereas The Last Crusade was saved only by Mishter Connewy. Be afraid, be very afraid.
