Den of Geek shortlisted as Launch of the Year

Gong! The prestigious British Society of Magazine Editors has shortlisted Den of Geek for the award of Launch of the Year 2008

We're not ones to blow our own trumpet over here at Den of Geek but we're quite pleased - to say the least - to be nominated as Launch of the Year 2008 by the prestigious British Society of Magazine Editors.

Yes, that is overall launch - not just website or magazine - and we're up against some pretty big budget debuts from the likes of Shortlist, Fabulous Magazine, Match of the Day and our own Dennis stablemate iGizmo.

The gongs will be given out at a posh ceremony in London's Hilton hotel on 4 November 2008. We don't expect to win but we do plan to drink a lot of vino and make a lot of noise.
